Finally - a simple app to let you take an manage note EVERYWHEREby HRGeek - June 28, 2008
Pros: Simple interface, web-sync across multiple computers
Cons: Text editing is a little clunky compared to OneNote
Review: I've been using OneNote for years and it has served very well but the downside is that it's not designed to be shared across multiple computers. Evernote takes the OneNote concept and perfects it using a very simple and seamless web sync. Clipping and searching are excellent, and the text edit features are pretty good as well. Overall, it's a big step up from One Note.

What a great application-remember it is in Beta.by cjop - March 29, 2005
Pros: Easy to use. Great potential
Cons: Haven't used it enough to find any.
Review: I can't see how one can go wrong with this program. I mainly use it when going through blogs on Bloglines. No more checking to save the article. I just highlight and copy to EN. I can then go back a categorize later. It is basicly the bucket I've been looking for to dump information I want to review or refer to later. Yes I've tried Net Snipets. EV is much more handy to use. I save the database on a pen drive for use at work also. According to the roadmap it will only get better. Tried comparing it to Onfolio but gave up using Onfolio because of the learning curve. EN is just plain easy to use.

comparison to TexNotes Proby ceejames - March 6, 2005
Pros: More control over notes, spell checking
Cons: no global spell check
Review: Currently use TexNotes Pro and have experimented with dozens of similiar programs (including OneNote) and have found no better program for catching information shards, from web sites, notes from notecards and really appreciate how often the program is enhanced and updated. Multiple export options including ebook format makes it a joy to use.
