Pros: Accepts virtually any input
Cons: Searching is weak
Summary: I like the interface, I like how I can use almost any sort of input. I'm studying for the Teradata Physical Implementation Certification Test and its a big help.
It's very easy to browse the notes you enter, but searching is very weak however. While my score is moderately high, this fault keeps it from getting a much higher score in my opinion.
If Microsoft beefs up the search capabilities, I think it could take on InfoSelect or AskSam head on. But too many potential applications NEED a powerful search engine (boolean operators, ie EQ, NE, >, <, etc).
On the whole, it a good version 1 and worth looking at if your applicaton can get by with bowsing and simple word or phrase search. I will seriously consider version 2 for upgrade.
