"Unusable and horrible support"
Pros: None that I can see
Cons: I was never able to use it.
Summary: I installed this on my computer. Somehow in the process it broke my connection with my scanner. I uninstalled it and reinstalled paperport and my former scanner software. Somehow Paperport made it so I cant connect to my scanner with their software or anybody elses. Then somebody in my office lost the serial/registration key and you cant get support without the key!! But I need the support to get the key. Waste of money!!!

Were you able to get your money back? I had problems to reinstall Paperport after changing my computer to a brand new one, and both Nuance and Digital River customer and support services never resolved it. The worst support I have ever seen in my life.

Don't feel bad about your lost serial#. Even though I have a legal serial # I am unable to validate the product as the Nuance message states that I have exceeded my install limit. I had Windows crash and I tried reinstalling it on the same computer without any luck. Also I had great difficulty geting the rebate that came with the product. Nuance truly sucks. No customer service or support whatever!
