"Great Value Package"
Pros: Lots of games on one cartridge
Cons: No save game feature??!!!!!
Summary: I bought a whole extra DS system just so I could download the chess game into it (only one catridge needed...SWEET!)and play wireless chess with my friends at work. "Covert-like" It works beautifully for that! I only wish they could have worked out a 'double screen view' option so you could study a bigger board before making a move. But the layout as it is works nice, with an excellent display of whose move it is and chess moves printing out on the upper screen as you go, allowing for rewind and review....but no take-backs. That can be a problem if you enter a move accidentally with a slip of the stylus which I've done twice so far -
My biggest disapointment is there is apparently no game save feature which is unheard of in chess! The only way to accomplish this that I know of is to 'playback' the moves and jot them down before turning it off, then tap them back in manually in order to continue the game. Boo! Hiss! #@%&*%$#$!!!!
As far as I know of, this is the absoulute best way to play wireless chess which would have been awesome back in my school days in the 70's. "You kids today have it made!"
Buy the game! The multiplayer chess alone is worth it. But single player chess is way too easy even on the hard setting. Not much of a challenge there...and I'm not that good. (Can't beat 6 yr. old Josh on Chessmaster!) For excellent single player chess on the DS, buy "Virtual Kasparov" for the GBA and play it on the DS. (Brighter screen.)

With 35 games on WFC, and the chat option, it's like going into a tornament in the privaty of your own home, and there's so much replay value, it's hard to put down, I recommend for anyone who likes any card/board games.
