Pros Fun arcade racer, lots a cars, great graphics
Cons Poor racing mechanics, only three (main) tracks
Summary Now I just bought this game from EB and it was fun! Cheap to, only $10. Anyways, the game was fun and you will notice how great the graphics look( a little pixelated but not that bad ). The game offers little ( main ) tracks, and when I say main I mean the scenery. The main tracks goes as follow:
On those tracks are three variations for each classified into expert, novice, and begginer, after that they reverse it. The controls are somewhat wierd, you can either use the arrows, stylus, or strap.
The Game is also a game to get since Midway isn't making a Cruis'n game for the DS ( be nice though ), so this is one of the few arcade racers to get.
Now the Bad, Racing Mechanics.... You know how in racing games, when you hit a car, you slow down. In this game when you hit a car from any direction, your car goes back 10 feet and your oppenent goes ahead 10 feet from where your car just was no matter what the reason is.
A fun game, but many may get frusterated trying to win, being when ever you hit a car they go foward, but put that a aside and you got a decent game. Plus it's a great game to get if you never started playing the series, now you you can play the game from its roots, sure its no mario kart but it is a great game to have by your side.
