"Disappointment."
Pros: Connection is usually good. Software is good. Spamblocker and Popup blocker is great.
Cons: Customer service, and tech service are terrible. Rates are high.
Summary: Earthlink was once worth every penny you paid for, however that is no longer true. I recently had to set up DSL and home networking service in my new home. I found out that the technical support and customer service was terrible. It took 18 days for my account to be set up. The equipment was broken upon arrival, and 30 days later and almost 20 hours on the phone, I am still without service. A definite lack of communication, follow up, and service representation. Noone spoke good English, and there was no effort on behalf of Earthlink whatsoever to keep me as a customer. I could not reach management on the phone nor per email. DSL connection was timing out, and noone could fix the problem. Rates are high, and unless you contact them to have your rate lowered, nothing will happen no matter how long you have been a customer. I expect good service if I pay these rates. That however, is no longer what Earthlink provides.

I agree about Earthlink. I had a bad expereinces with the earthlink and it is true. The customer service agent can't speak and understand english. All they do is getting money from the earthlink company, which is the earthlink customer's money and do nothing. They can't even solve a single problem. They transfer to one department to another department in order to avoid the customer and give the wrong information not to get problem by the customer.
