"Decent, as long as you keep up w/ the price changes"
Pros: Above average reliability and consistency
Cons: Guaranteed max speed never a reality.
Summary: When I first signed up for this deal, it cost $26.95/mo for 1500/384 service. I tried many different testing sites for speed gauging, and I never even got close to 1300kbps download. It was more like around 1200kbps.
In all fairness, however, I have gotten up to 1440kbps speed during larger downloads, but this has only been once, maybe twice, during my lifetime with this company. 1200kbps is the usual top speed.
A few months ago (in June, I believe), they lowered the price to $14.99/mo, but I hesitated in changing my service to that billing. Only recently did I 'upgrade' to their Pro package, now at 3000/512, for $24.99/mo--less expensive than what I started with.
Moral of the story? Keep up with their pricing deals and you will get your money's worth.
Other problems include sporadic email problems (mainly on their yahoo mail servers), and intermittent service interruptions that happen maybe once or twice every 3 months. They don't last long, however.
