"Awful, tearjerking service"
Pros: Decent web browsing and download speeds when its working
Cons: it never works (at least in central Indiana)
Summary: Absolutely awful where i live, service is non-existant or from out of the country. Switched from cable modem to save money, i thought i only needed web browsing and email. DSL speeds are fine for that function when it works. It said to wait 10 days for full speed (what?), even after the prescribed time reliabilty was horrible. It said it was connected to the internet, but there was no flow going between host and user. Some of the extra yahoo features are welcomed, but the other sbc and yahoo software are so annoying. My friend across town though recieves delightfull service, albeit with the unwanted software.
So unless you have good reviews in your area, stay away.
