Pros: very easy to use...when you can use it.
Cons: analog only...old style videos will transfer, very hard to use with a pc. you cannot hook it up to the pc and the vcr or camcorder at the same time..it defaults to the pc every time. good thing I can return it.

Pros: I have converted all my Hi-8 over to DVD and now working on my VHS tapes. It Does a great job!
Cons: The sync doesn't always work. I tried using the sync option and it would always record 8 seconds and stop. I talked to a Sony tech guy and he said to not use sync with my analog conversions and that it shouldn't even be an option on the drive unless it ha
