Cons: The HP BD340i does BD-R DL write does not work 50% of the time. This is expensive because each individual blank BD disk is $10, or $100 for pack of 10. The product is not listed anywhere on HP's website - they have no software drivers available.
Summary: I spent 2.5 hours today talking to HP tech support. Apparently it is so new, that they have not heard of their product yet. Surprisingly, their final advice is to return the product to the store because they do not have any software driver support for this product yet. I strongly recommend for anyone to search the model number BD340i on HP's website and DO NOT BUY until they beginning to support their product. This was the worse tech support that I've ever encountered. I own many HP products and I'm shocked that HP would release this product without providing software drivers. The HP BD340i does BD-R DL write does not work half the time. After about 75% of the way complete, the error message pops-up "Cannot write to the disk because an error occured." This is a very expensive error because each individual blank BD disk is $10, or $100 for pack of 10.
