"Hard to install, good when it works"

Cons: one cable was missing from the box. And the box was sealed !!! Customer support treated me like I was stealing a cable from them when I asked for a replacement. I had to speak to 3 people before getting this resolved. HP employees are lazy and un-concerne

"AFTER THE GLITCHES, WORKS LIKE A CHAMP"
Pros: Works with software such as DVD shrink, and DVD Decryptor, and can burn copies of ANY DVD after proper install...must use nero to burn.
Cons: Like Previous users, there is a software glitch, you can get the appropriate fix and help from HP.com or you can call the 800 number and they will tell you how to adjust the upper limits to make it work.

Pros: DRIVE WORKS WELL WITH ROXIO TO COPY A DVD
Cons: ARCSOFT IF THE WORST THING ABOUT THE PRODUCT. TECHINAL SUPPORT COULDN'T FIND THEIR WAY OUT THE BOX. AFTER NUMEROUS HOURS OF GETTING THE RUN AROUND FROM TECH SUPPORT AND ACRSOFT. HAD TO HAVE MY PROBLEM ESCALATED TO CORPORATE. THEN IT BECAME A 10 MINUTE

Cons: software package only average at best. Used some programs, works excellent with nero.
