Pros: None - other then easy then initially install
Cons: Software is crap. I wish I had read these reviews before I bought it. I spent 6 hours screwing with it to burn a DVD, then called HP customer support - what a joke. 25 minutes waiting to be disconnected - then 22 minutes for second call to go nowhere.

"Major issue with Arcsoft DVD writer"
Pros: Nice concept for my 15 year old VHS tapes I want to save.
Cons: Software simply does not work. I ended up formating the harddrive and it still did not work( I was told that the software was installed incorrectly and reinstall it.). Maybe I will buy it in 6 months after they fix all the bugs. HP was simply trying to ru

"Once installed incredibly easy"
Pros: Incredibly easy to use, great VHS to DVD transfer
Cons: Did not work on initial installation. Had to uninstall and install again. Now everything works great!

Pros: Easy to use clean package
Cons: Can not transfer vhs to dvd Program quits before the dics is fully burn. To much money for what you get out of it. Take to much time to copy a vhs to dvd. Has big problem with the software.

"Drivers killed my Windows 2000 machine"
Pros: Unknown. Couldn't install.
Cons: It caused my Windows 2000 PC to cease booting. Tech Support, all from India, said that the store where I bought it from would fix the machine. The store says they won't do it without charging me. Gotta love that; the drivers killed my Windows 2000 install
