Pros: It was very easy to use, once I deleted all previous video sw. Transfer quality from VHS was excellent, and from DV camcorder as well. Very pleased. I highly recommend it. I may try Sonic MyDVD 5 with it to get more features in editing, but bundled softwa
Cons: Can't think of one thing. I give it a 10!

Pros: very easy to use, burns DVD's from VHS tapes and from DV Camcorder.
Cons: Make sure to uninstall any other video software, as it will conflict with the HP software. That was the only hiccup.

Pros: Installs without problems. ArcSoft Sofware allows good home movies to be created.
Cons: You can't burn the good movies that you created to the DVD. I have an AMD Athlon 2000+ and 1Gig RAM and it still takes 90 minutes to burn a DVD - but usually before the burn process is complete the program terminates.

"Don,t waste your money and time on this prototype"
Pros: It will work if you only want to make a transfer of a VHS tape or raw video without editing or adding wipes,fades etc.
Cons: I spent my hard earned money on a product with defective software. After waiting hours for it to make a DVD it shuts down.
