Cons Caution - the box states that the Nero Essentials software is included and you can easily customize and burn photos, home movies, and MP3s to DVD or CD. What they don't tell you is the software is only a trial version, you will have to pay in 30 days
Summary This is the last Iomega product I will purchase.
The first 16x16 DVD drive only worked a short time, and when I went to use it again (like a months later) it didn't work anymore. So I purchased the Super Slim DVD, and had the problems as stated.
I wrote to Iomeg about the Super Slim DVD, but they didn't care and told me to caontact Nero.
I didn't buy this from Nero.
Iomega needs to support the products they sell and support their customers - or their customers will be no more support for them.
Goodbye Iomega. -

on by bojames58Pros Iomega is well known for quality product and this DVD burner is very slim and portable. It doesn't require power adapter and especially compatible with PC, MAC and Linux.
Cons Nothing to complain about.
Summary I have been looking for a slim External DVD burner for my MacBook Pro but Apple hasn't produced any. The only one available is for MacBook Air and thus I tried this Iomega DVD Burner and I am very happy with it.
Speed and performance meet my expectation. Great product, indeed. -

Cons Wastes 8.4GB disks.
Summary No more IOMEGA or ME! This drive often hangs up when it gets to working on the 2nd layer.

Cons ived tried to use this on my desktop and it doest work for some reason
i have downloaded the nero program which has a time limit on it
