Pros: It's easy to use and you can create disc without the use of a computer.
Cons: It started out great when I first got it. Used it to do about 10 disc, after that it stopped recognizing disc out of the SAME PACK I had previously used. Tried other disc and still got the same thing!

"Basic Flaws - JVC Should Recall this Product."
Pros: Excellent when working
Cons: Fundamental flaw - Does not do what JVC claims it does. burn directly to blank DVDs. Would not recognize its own JVC blank DVD that came with the product. piece of junk.
