  "Basic Flaws - JVC Should Recall this Product."

  Pros: Excellent when working

  Cons: Fundamental flaw - Does not do what JVC claims it does. burn directly to blank DVDs. Would not recognize its own JVC blank DVD that came with the product. piece of junk.

  Summary: Did not recognize the JVC Disc that came with the product. Bought Sony brand of blanks and was able to download my first 7 hours of recording, which i deleted afterwards. Recorded another 7 hrs worth filming but the burner refused to Recognized the blanks, very frustrating!!! I tried all the recommended trouble shooting procedures in the manual to no avail. Piece of Crap and a total let down in the time of need. JVC should recall this product. It is a disaster. Do not waste your dollars. Will update this review once I am able to resolve it with customer service. stay posted
