"if you want to waste blank DVD, buy this one"
Pros: sometimes it actually burns and verifies successfully
Cons: so much of the time it doesn't work
Summary: I've had nothing but problems with this thing burning DVD's. I even sent it back to Lacie and they sent me a brand new one, but no better. I bought Toast, but that didn't help. I got more expensive high quality blank DVD's... nothing. Basically, the thing burns successfully about 2 out of 3 times... sometimes it fails during the burn itself, sometimes it doesn't verify properly, but either way, you end up throwing out a lot of DVD's and wasting a lot of time trying to burn. And by the way, it fails even at low speeds (2x)! And those double layer DVD's don't even bother. It has worked for CD's without any trouble though..
