Memorex 16X16X DL IDE DVD drive

Pros: Comes with a awsome customized Nero suite and the nero photo elite, not express (A $45 value). Solid drive and very fast burning speeds (16x DVD Rom -R/+R, 4x DL DVD 48x CD-R)

Cons: Very poor support from Memorex

Summary: After 2 weeks of use very happy with burner considering I only paid 60 bucks for it. Burns CDs in no time and at 16x burns DVDs in 10-15 mins. Great software from Nero for burning, making labels, backing up CDs DVDs and my harddrive, ripping and recoding movies and audio files. Did experience one minor drawback with my computer sticking it in PIO mode instead of DMA (Direct Memory Access) after afew weeks of use which slowed the system to a crawl and after contacting memorex support about the issue they just brushed it off as a problem with my system, contacted my PC Manufacture and found out it was the burner itself, Reinstalled the firmware of the drive and been working in DMA ever since then. Just wished memorex had a better support system instead of just pushing people off to other places to find help.
