    Pros: Affordable burner

    Cons: unable to back-up movies

Summary: This was my first burner I've purchased for my Dell. The installation was simple and Windows XP picked it right up. The problems occurred when I tried to boot up a PC game, "No disc in drive". Forced to use other drive for gaming. Burning was a disaster. U-lead software unable to rip DVD movie. DVD Shrink would get about 35% of the way then indicate "error". One consolation is I have plenty of coasters, expensive shiny coasters. Went with Sony DRU 820A with Nero 6 and works great. No coasters yet. Able to back-up movies with DVD shrink.
