    Summary: I spent a weekend trying to get the drive to work. I finally figured out "Simple Backup" and "DLA" were the problems. These programs let you back up or make recorery disks. I called SONY tech support. They said they were aware of the problem of running this software on XP and recommended using the MyDVD software instead. Problem is this software for creating videos/pictures to DVD. I probably will put this on a WIN98SE system.
