Pros double-layer writer
Cons none, really
Summary This has been a very reliable dual-layer burner for me. It made a coaster once when I jarred the notebook pc as it burned, but other than that it's good. Most other drives have no problem reading the disks. I've made about 20 burns using Verbatim DVD+R DL media, and numerous other CDR and DVD+R 4GB burns.
Pros there is none!
Cons noisy , breaks down and slow
Summary I have had my DW-D56A 'plug-in' in my VAIO VGN-FS215S. It broke down after 3 months with no reason other than it rattled itself to shreds.
I have since then reseached the product on a dozen review sites only to find the same verdict throughout....poor workmanship. One more thing, it fails dismally when put
under task.......games dont have a chance.
