"it just works" 4.5 stars
Pros: double-layer writer
Cons: none, really
Summary: This has been a very reliable dual-layer burner for me. It made a coaster once when I jarred the notebook pc as it burned, but other than that it's good. Most other drives have no problem reading the disks. I've made about 20 burns using Verbatim DVD+R DL media, and numerous other CDR and DVD+R 4GB burns.
