""works" but frustratingly loud"
Pros: - Logo kind of looks like Sony - Taught me to do research before buying
Cons: Awful rattling, whirling noise when playing DVDs. A few bangs sometimes settles down the noise, but I'm so annoyed by this piece of junk that sometimes I keep hitting it.

Pros: versatile, plays many formats
Cons: Suddenly stopped (after 1 year) playing dvds, though it will still play mp3, and mpeg discs, and vcd dics..

Pros: cheap
Cons: anything apex i've ever gotten, has some lil quirk that happens to it within a year which renders the product impotent.

Pros: Plays MP3's and DVD's and it hardly cost anything. Has worked for me like it did out of the box for a good 6 months now.
Cons: Loud 'warble' sound when a disk is spinning inside. Some (few) DVD's won't play in it, but DO work in other players.

Cons: You think it, it's a CON. Can pay CD's but will not play DVD's. After on month. Can you Beleive it.
