Description: The COBY DVD-209 - DVD Player is a single-disc, budget DVD player.Compared to other budget DVD players on the market, it is very inexpensive at around $40.

Pros: Capable of playing multiple types of recordable and rewritable discs, this player can handle more types of media that most DVD players.This player is relatively slim at a height of 1.3 in.

Cons: This unit lacks DTS output capability, so it will not play back DTS soundtracks.

Suitability: A budget DVD player, suited for watching movies and/ or listening to music.
