Pros: Low cost, small
Cons: Cheep feeling remote, IR probles with other equipment
Summary: I bought this when I got my LV30HT LCD TV. They don't work great together. The remotes are on the same IR channel or something. When I volume on the TV it changes the languages on the DVD, or if I pause the DVD it switches inputs on the TV. By them selves or with other combos of equipment its fine. Got a Harmony Remote and have had issues with it still. I may have to swap it out with my other DVD player. It works well when not competing with my TV.

Pros: Very Inexpensive, Easy to unlock for multi-region/multiformat DVD's. Clean video, Small and compact.
Cons: Remote control is initially confusing
Summary: This DVD player is great for the price and that you can easily unlock it to play all regions and both PAL and NTSC DVD. Due to having this player unlocked I have been able to acquire truly uncut DVD's that aren't and/or will never be available in this country like the movie Ken Park which is only distributed by a Russian company.

Pros: not a thing
Cons: stops working after only a few months
Summary: The company does not stand behind thier products and this is the 4th one I have had from them and am giving up. I think that they purposely make them to break a week after the warrany expires so you have to keep buying them. The customer service sucks as well. Do yourself a favor and don't buy any Coby products. Spend a litte extra and make sure that you get something that isn't cheap junk!

Pros: Inexpensive (paid $30 at Fry's), fully featured, support was good when I could not configure it to do progressive on my HDTV, works OK in ALL modes, simple remote
Cons: Have not found why it is only $30!

Pros: Subtitles and audio buttons so you could change spoken and subtitles without having to stop the movie and go to the menu, you could change on the fly.
Cons: This thing is junk. I had one and in less than a year the eject button stopped responding so I had to open it up to force out the DVD that was in there.
Summary: Don't get this piece of junk!
