"good for the price"
Pros: nice picture, and sound
Cons: you got to have a HDMI cable hooked up to upscale to 720p and 1080i, but the manual says for a clearer picture use component? The setup menu sucks and is confusing at times.
Summary: its got good picture and sound. I got it hooked up through component and optical, but i really bought this dvd player so it would upscale, and to find out that I need a HDMI after reading the manual. I was disappointed (single tear,)think im going to return it for that reason. Im thinking about getting a PS3 for the blu-ray and games of course, and it also upscales now, thanx to a firmware download. I know it costs alot more than this, but I look into the future when I buy my electronics. DVD players are heading down the same road the VCR did. High definition looks soooo much better than regular DVDs.
