"Attractive, high performance screen" on by jgio9
Pros: Very small pixels provide an image that appears to have much higher resolution than competitive models, that almost all have large pixels that clearly give the image a screen door look - no such effect with the Insignia
Cons: Not highly durable, but extra care in handling the unit should protect it from typical damage

"Bad electronics" on by rsharma314
Pros: resolution, screen size
Cons: flimsy, bad components inside
Summary: I tried everything possible to get the AV in and AV out to work, but the only thing I got was static. I got the headphones to work, however, there was a lot of buzzing noise that was persistent with the audio. I got a cheaper version of Axiom and that works like a charm.

"not a very well programed DVD player" on by unknown2man
Pros: the only good thing about this product was it was small.
Cons: when my father and i got the insignia with in three months it started to say no disc when we were trying to watch my futurama disc on it.
Summary: it was all good until it kept saying no disc on the screen when i had put a futurama disc inside.

"Great little player full of useful features" on by CaptAdams35
Pros: Very good picture, excellent sound quality, nonslip rubberized casing, ease of access to controls, ample external connection possibilities, exceptional battery life.
Cons: The compartment for the remote is fantastic... however a 19 month old negates its intended purpose and have lost the remote. Maybe on future models they'll make the compartment childproof... LoL, just kidding, I have no complaints about the player.
Summary: If you're looking for a great dvd player with tons to offer for under $100, this is definitely a great choice. I've had mine for 8 months and had zero issues with it. The audio is great, the video is great, and you can even connect a PS2 to it and the kids will stay entertained for decades... okay, 8 hour trips seem like 30 minutes since we got it. Overall, I give it a 90% satisfaction rating (the extra accessories, or lack of) are the only drawback to the player. I have yet to find a case that will house the unit to allow for it to be attached to the back of the seat).
