    Pros: Even the DVD tray is cool

    Cons: Not directly available in Europe

    Summary: I live in France. That means different TVs (PAL System), diffferent DVDs (Zone 2), and different voltages (220-240v). On a leap of faith, I bought the Oppo DV-970HD and brought it home. In short, everything worked beautifully. I really didn't need to do a thing: I just plugged in the power cord, turned it on and it automatically played Zone 2 in PAL. I then set the up-scaler to my Philips Plasma TV (1024 x 1080i) and I was shocked by the quality of the picture...impeccable!
