Pros: Worked great until it died. Liked the audio CD capability.
Cons: I took a chance even given the negative reviews on reliability. I got burned. Now I have to add to the landfill anad buy something else - it won't be a Panasonic.

"progressive scan could be better"
Pros: tweak this player to your hearts content. spend some time with it, and you'll discover some great features. stereo surround sound works superbly. the zoom does a very good job handling pixelation at 1.0-1.2 magnification
Cons: progressive scan picture tends to make actors faces look like claymation for some reason. interlaced mode is WAY better, which is too bad considering I bought this player for is 480p capabilities.
