Pros: Would play everything that was put into it

Summary: Mine just broke after less than a year of use.

When it did work, I would have rated it only a 5. Though it did play all the types of discs I put into it, it had many faults. The fast forward wasn't that fast. It would display a maximum of 8x on the screen for fast forwarding (which isn't fast itself), but it would actually even fast forward that fast.

If I paused a disc, maybe 50% of the time when I unpaused it, the movie timer would not be correct. It seemed to correct the display at the beginning of the next chapter, but it was still annoying.

Sometimes when coming back from pauing, the disc would just stop playing. I couldn't even push play to go back into the player. I would have to power down, and then repower up.

Finally, as I said, after less than a year, it broke. Before I bought this, I read reviews about it, and thought all the negatives I heard were just a small minority. But I was wrong. Two of my friends have the same player, and theirs has died as well.

Stay away from this please!
