Cons: Does not reliably read DVD data
Summary: I paid $300 for this DVD player a few years ago and it has never read "imperfect" DVDs (which is almost all of them) very well. It pauses, skips ahead, and make large leaps backwards. My cheaper DVD players at home can both play the DVDs that this player cannot. My recommendation is to avoid.

Pros: Great out of the box, easy connection
Cons: No complaint so far
Summary: I have connected this player to my Sony KDS-R60XBR1 TV using HDMI cable and have no problem what so ever. Picture is so crisp and clear. I am addicted to this set up now. I find myself spending most time watching DVD. I purchase this at Circuit City for $125 and much much better than more expensive DVD player in market

Summary: It's the best thing i bought in a long time.The reason i did so was from a friend who stole his and left it in my house.I was so impressed that i decided to actually BUY my own.I highly recommend buying it,but i strongly do not recommend stealing one.

Summary: it was either this one or the Sony dvp-ns500v for me...Video seems better than my previous high end Sony dvd player & audio is definitely better than before. Easy set up, great looking. solid build.

"Keeps on stopping/dying" on
Summary: From the start it has been a very difficult machine to get working. Keeps overheating and after an hour or so starts skipping thru the DVD or CD. I have just got it back from the repair center and now after 30 minutes or so it just stops and goes into standby. I am very very unhappy
