"excellent!"
Pros: very very good value
Cons: remote (whose remote isn't a con?)
Summary: I bought this to replace a Toshiba, which was horrible. Even though I swore off Sony after having a CRT fail on a $900 TV after 6 years, there really weren't many options in this price range that offered the features.
Needless to say, I'm very pleasently surprised!
99% of DVDs I play are my back-ups, and this one outperforms everything I've tried before!
No hiccups, no freezing, excellent everything.
Sony, you're not forgiven for doing nothing for me concerning my Triniton, but you've done your research on this DVD player!
(this is the same unit as the DVP NS77H/S, mine is black, the S is silver)
