"Works great for me."
Pros: Beatiful picture, 1080i over component for HD DVDs
Cons: slow to boot, can't read the remote(I use a Harmony remote instead)
Summary: This unit fulfills the original promise of my Mitsubishi rear projection TV. Now I can get real High definition for movies on DVD. The quality of the films so far(I have viewed four) varies from great to outstanding. I am sure things will only get better just like regular DVDs did.
The unit is slow to boot but I have had no lockups as some have. I do not overload the unit with remote commands. Once the movie is running the response of the unit has been great.
For a first generation product it performs about as well as expected. For $499 this is a great value.
