"Looks Good!" on by RyanRoberts_23
Pros: Hi Def Picture
Cons: Price Tag w/New Technology
Summary: While I'm sure this unit will give a superb picture, even on a 720p HDTV. I can't help but cringe at the expected price tag. I would like to say that the PS3 came out in stores this month with a price tag around $600. So, if Toshiba really wants to be successful in placing one of these babies in each and every home, they will have to put it out there for around $600. However, I'm a realist and I fully expect this thing to sell for right around $1,000. (Sighs) Heads up Toshiba. You can either be THE company to push HD-DVD over Blu-Ray or you can let the price drive HD-DVD enthusiasts to their grave with sorry. I guess we'll see!
