Pros: I have been using this over 2 years. It has been working good. MP3, DVD and VCDs (yea..I have a couple of those too) works fine. Overall...great reliability and frankly good value for the money.
Cons: MP3 - if you had folders, it stops after playing the songs in that folder. Don't know if that is a feature of MP3 players and I don't know how to play all of the songs. It happens in just CD - other are fine. DVD - some dvd's stop 1 hour into the film. I

"Junk - died after a year and a half"
Pros: Nice features. I enjoyed it while it worked.
Cons: Died after a year and a half. $200 bucks to repair and no help from Toshiba. Scrapped it and bought a $79.00 DVD player from Target. Works great!

"Great Player - Have clean DVDs"
Pros: This is a machine which has more than enough options to satisfy most everyone. From Stereo CDs, to Audio DVDs, to Theatrical DVDs, the 4700 does them all incredibly well. For those with lots of problems, I would recommend a COMPLETE review of the manual
