"Had High Hopes -- then Skipping started!"
Summary: Bought this unit in August of 2002 on the strength of CNET's rating. All was fine for about 5 months -- then a whole lot of skipping and freezing. Tried cleaning, different disks, etc. Still skipping. Contacted Zenith, told I needed an "upgrade". ($35 since the labor warranty is only 90 days!) Called every other day for three weeks and still haven't received the paperwork for sending the unit in! ("Sorry about that Sir, I'm not sure why that wasn't sent yet.") Never again with Zenith!
