"Good for camcorder tape transfer"
Pros: I purchased this solely to transfer my old Hi8 tapes to DVD media. It has done an acceptable job of doing that. Relatively easy to use as long as you're willing to do some experimenting on your own. The video quality on SP setting is quite good, compar
Cons: Very limited editing. You have to stop the recording at just the right moment in order to split your recording into chapters, otherwise it will automatically do it every 5 minutes or so but not really in chapter format. Since you're recording onto DVD-R
