"Great Gateway AR-230 DVD Recorder"
Pros: Works Great. Better and just as easy as a VCR. I suggest Buying one. Great Price. Great Quality. You will get the bang for the buck !!!!

Pros: Cheap, Menu system works well, Uses DVD +R, Decent picture quality on playback and good sound.
Cons: This player is only useful for dvds you will play back on this player. The finalization process does not seem to work well and all dvds created with this player skip when played on other devices. I have tried dvds in 2 computers and in 2 other new players

Pros: SOME of the features are easy to use.
Cons: Spent nearly 2 hours trying to hook the thing up. I found the user's manual to be nearly worthless. No definitions of various symbols, no mention of finalizing discs, and the trouble shooting section is a joke. Tech support was ZERO help in trouble shooti
