"Only works with Verbatim discs 8X or lower."
Pros: It will never will out synch voice and video, so great for archiving old videos. Other systems will get voice and video out of synch, this unit will never do even if you try. Might work wityh other disc brands some times.
Cons: Hard to use but if you use it a lot like me you will get to learn it.

Pros: It Looks Cool???
Cons: WAY too finiky with which disks it will write to. In 4yrs Ive been able to create 1 DVD. Even that brand of disk was hit and miss and that brand hasnt worked since. Kudos for the guy who got it to work with Verbatim disks. I tried them... no luck
