Cons: Looks like a DVD player from 1990. No DivX
Summary: This is an excellent entry level DVD recorder, the big pros being the multiple formats that can record on (Only DVD+RW is not supported) and it's ease of use. True a hard drive would be nice but that doubles the price (DMR-ES85) It does everything that your standard VCR does and all the things you would expect from a DVD recorder including chase play and has the added bonus of 500 lines of resolution in EP mode. For the money you won't be dissappointed with this recorder.
