"I own 2 Philips DVDR's"
Pros: the 2nd one has great editing software
Cons: I don't have any cons
Summary: the first one I bought was an older version and didn't have editing features to speak of and only 4 speeds of recordings. the 2ne one has 7 speeds and all the editing that I need. The recording quality is great upto 4 hrs. and not to bad upto 6 hrs. and ok at 8 hrs. I like mine. Just use good quality DVD+RW's, had no problem with DVD+R's.
