    "Excellent for DVD recording"

    Pros: Good recording quality, ease of use, compatability

    Cons: A poor DVD player

    Summary: Had this unit for over a year now. Have made hundreds of DVDs(mostly DVDRW) and it has only made one or 2 bad ones. My previous Philips(985) you never knew what you would get. After the 3rd time it broke, CC gave me this one and I am very happy with it.

    Playback of purchased DVD's is primitive but useable.
