My DVR is dead and I am very upset about it!by willifordk - August 11, 2007
Pros: Easy to use this DVR and the manual is easy to understand.
Cons: The machine did not work for very long for me.
Review:
I bought this recorder specifically for the name because this company had always been a good one. I didn't use this machine very much but had it a little over a year so that the warranty expired. One night I pre-recorded a show and the next day I turned it on and it flickered and went black, it would not go on. When I called Pioneer to try to find out what might be wrong, the guy at customer service told me he didn't know what had happened but for me to go out and buy a new one because it would cost me more to get it fixed. He also told me that if I wanted to get it looked at I would have to send it in to Pioneer, that there was no one else who could service it. I am very unhappy with this company and will not buy from them again.
