"This DVD Recorder is a piece of junk!!"
Pros: Not enough to mention.
Cons: I have been a fan of RCA equipment for years, but the past 3 or 4 products I have purchased from RCA suck. This DVD recorder doesn't work right half the time. It doesn't play alot of my bought DVD's, alot of the time it will not finalize recorded discs

"You never know when it will work properly"
Pros: This RCA DRC8000N recorder records up to 8-hours on one disk and has other good features.
Cons: You never really know when it will be working for you. It locked up several times in guide plus mode and had to remove power but had to wait a day before I could start using the guide+ feature for recording. I set it up to recorded two programs one night,

Cons: Need to use Guide+ with IR blaster to schedule a program for digital channels higher then 200 (Can't manually enter channels in the 200+ range). Guide+ menu is only holds 3 days of programming. Scheduled recordings menu for Guide+ are listed seperate
