"Big savings but very big Headache"
Pros: Price
Cons: Fan is noisey, always on. guide book is the worst, poorly written and very hard to understand. Does not work with digital cable, difficult to operate unless your a rocket scientist.

"Junk; doesn't do the job. Recroded DVDs wont finalize and play on ANY other DVD player."
Pros: Under $400. unit proves you get what you pay for and don't what you don't! DOES NOT WORK AS ADVERTISED. Don't buy this - you're buying a headache.
Cons: First remote would not work. Finally got it to work after replacing the same batteries 3 times. Manual is porrly written. Recroding instructions are scattered about the manual. You must set the recording length in one part of the menu and then return to r
