"P.O.S.-Nipper should be ashamed"
Pros: Makes a decent doorstop.
Cons: I'm on my third machine -It locks/freezes up constantly. Won't finalize at least half the time.It took RCA /Thomsen over a month to replace with a unit that had the same problems. My pile of ruined discs(various manufacture) is testimony.My last RCA

"Be careful, because this thing will erase recorded material on its own."
Cons: This thing has been a nightmare since I purchased it. It will erase recorded content on its own. It locks up frequently while recording. It is possessed.

Cons: I have thrown away more DVDs than I have recorded. I have also lost a lot of good programs because the DVD player locks up or the DVD will not finalize. Bad product for a great company. They should be ashamed and make it right with all the buyers.
