    Pros: Easy to use, very good quality picture, price

    Cons: not all dvd-r's are compatible

    Summary: I bought this one after returning my Phillips recorder. What a difference! The menu was very easy to navigate. I recorded a program as soon as I set it up and finalized in about a minute. Tested on my other players, they played perfectly! I'm very pleased. I recommend reading through the manual first and using the suggested dvd-r.
