"Excellent DVD Recorder & Player"
Pros: Can write DVD -R, +R, -RW, +RW. I've had no compatability problems and several manufactures blank disk brands have worked flawlessly in all recording modes. Editing and title making is easy to do. Play back of store bought DVD movies is excellent, especia
Cons: Won't pass signal on Line In & Line Out unless unit is on. Remote doesn't light up in the dark.

Pros: Can use 2 formats of DVDs.
Cons: This DVD recorder doesn't even have ilink or firewire to connect to my camcorder. Take a long long time to load, read & start record. Cannot play PAL system or other format DVDs like Philips.

"Cannot edit chapters for -R +Rs Disks"
Pros: Well designed and menu interface is a lot easier than most.
Cons: I needed a machine that could input chapter markers in my DVD's I'm out of luck can only do automatically every 6 or 15 minutes. So much for any control over the DVD? Has habbit of not being able to play DVD +R discs.
