"Lacks chapter editing for -Rs, +Rs"
Pros: Nice interface. Easy to get started (good initial walkthrough). Lots smoother features. Nice menus on final DVDs.
Cons: On +R and -Rs you can't edit the chapters within a show (0, 6 or 15 min only). Means you can't edit out the commercials if you want and you must press record at exactly the right time to get a perfect recording (hard because there's a 5 second lag betwee

Pros: Very easy to use, you don't need the manual unless you want to record from live TV. I'll stick to my TiVO. Can use all 4 DVDR formats.
Cons: Need i-Link or FireWire input.
