    Pros: It plays some dvd for a few moments and the recording is about the same chopppppy.
    The remote looks nice and worked well.

    Cons: Very picky playing DVD?s most rental and store bought DVD?s skip and freeze others it will not even read. I have tried recording and the quality is poor most of the time recordings are so bad I just trash the disk. Disk load time abnormally long

    Summary: All of my observations and opinions are based on testing and using this unit for more than a few months.
    Buy a different model
    This unit is a waste of time, money, and resources
